J C GROON

Chief Revenue Officer J C Groon has 25 years of experience in the technology industry, driving both internal and client-focused success. With his successful track record and experience in technology, strategy, and sales roles, J C expertly drives SEBPO’s revenue growth. His innovative and scalable approach to helping SEBPO achieve its various growth goals will be instrumental in expanding our current and future client base while also strengthening our position in the industry.

He most recently served first as Vice President of Channel Sales for Density, a Series D-connected hardware startup backed by Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, and others. Before joining Density, J C spent eight years at LinkedIn, where he led the firm’s Global Clients sales organization in EMEA and Latin America. He has also held leadership roles at Cisco Systems and NAVTEQ, a Nokia Company.

Earlier in his career, J C worked at the global professional services company Accenture in various client-facing technology and strategy consulting roles. There, he was a recognized leader in both collaboration and security technologies. He was pivotal in deploying the early tech stack for Accenture’s offshore teams in India and the Philippines. J C was awarded patents for his work at Accenture in data structures, collaboration, and sales support and training.

J C earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. When he isn’t driving revenue growth, he spends time with his wife, Katherine, and their Labrador Retriever, Ziggy.
