SEBPO CSR Enabling the Disabled 2016

SEBPO STORY

60% of population in Bangladesh is below 30 years of age. We want to remind our young employees they stand on the shoulders of their previous generations who have sacrificed for them. Also, disabled people bring tremendous value to our society as they are passionate, resilient, and teach us about perseverance. SEBPO wanted to “give back to these people” by helping and supporting them to show our appreciation.

In partnership with the Bangladesh Shine Foundation, we organized the “Enabling the Disabled” program.
Under the program, SEBPO came to the aid of the aged and disabled people of the community. We donated 25 wheel chairs, 32 crutches, and 10 non-mechanized tri vans (bicycles with wagons). Our Chairman & Co-Founder, ASM Mohuiddin Monem, actively participated in the program along with the community partners. The program also included 50 Rickshaw Vans as a follow up of our initiative from last year. Special guests from the Diplomatic Community also took active part and graced the program.
