Media Planner

Job Description

SEBPO is seeking a full-time Media Planner to focus on developing cross-channel digital media strategies and managing and optimizing media efforts on an ongoing basis across all digital channels, including paid search, display, and social. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end digital media campaigns and seek new areas of opportunity
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including other media specialists, to plan, implement, and improve account performance aligned with client goals and initiatives
  • Proactively manage relationships with media vendors and social platforms
  • Provide benchmark and tracking reports to Account Managers, Clients, and Media Team on key performance indicators and provide insights on how they map to larger client goals
  • Analyze trends and improve media performance based on the client’s KPIs
  • Drive innovation and implement testing strategies to continually uncover optimization levers, enhance learning, and improve performance
  • Ensure that advertising messages align with client or company objectives
  • Research the current media landscape and keep up to date with the latest media trends
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, advertising platforms, and media influencers

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent grasp of data analytics with the ability to analyze results and maximize performance with an ability to translate data to insights and actions
  • Exceptional project management skills, writing, and organizational skills
  • Experience with online marketing metrics such as ROI, click-through rate, cost-per-click, cost-per-action, conversion rate, average order size, etc.
  • Ability to identify, communicate, solve and follow up on issues that arise on a daily and weekly basis
  • Reporting and campaign performance dashboard upkeep
  • Manage project timelines; ability to manage several projects at once

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of digital media planning and buying experience

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Google Ads or Analytics, IAB, Facebook, and other media certification are a plus
